Who are we?
www.play-and-stay.co.uk is owned and run by Holiday Extras Ltd, we are the UKs market leaders in providing travel products such as airport hotels, airport parking and travel insurance. We successfully look after 2.5 million customers a year and were established in 1983. We are a privately owned business. Play and Stay is a new development designed to bring great value Theme Park Breaks to both UK customers and visitors from overseas. Back to top

Can I buy Theme Park tickets on their own?
Unfortunately this is not possible, as our tickets must be purchased as part of a hotel package. We do have some ticket only special offers these can be booked online at www.fun-ticket.co.uk. Back to top

When do I get my tickets?
For bookings we will email a confirmation voucher to you. This will serve as proof of payment for both the hotel and your Theme Park tickets. You will need to exchange this confirmation email at the Group bookings desk at the park to receive your entrance tickets, please take the confirmation email with you. Back to top

What happens if I lose my vouchers before I go?
If you lose this voucher please call us on 0800 9555 980 and we will arrange for a replacement voucher to be re-sent. The original voucher (should you subsequently find it) will be then become void. Back to top

Can I book at short notice?
Yes you can actually book on the day you want to go. Back to top

Do you have a brochure?
We have chosen not to produce a brochure for www.play-and-stay.co.uk as we prefer to keep our website totally up-to-date with the latest prices, availability and information. Back to top

Is breakfast at the hotel incldued in the package?
Most Play-and-Stay packages do include breakfast (but not all), please check carefully before confirming your booking whether you have selected a room only or breakfast included package. Back to top

What if I need to cancel my booking?
Should you or any member of your party need to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us. All cancellations must be made through Play-and-Stay. Telephone 0800 9555 980.
No refund is made for cancellation of bookings within 24 hours of the date of ticket entrance to the park or within 24 hours of the hotel stay (or after). An administration fee of 15.00 per room per night applies to all other cancellations. Back to top

What if I need to amend my booking?
We will do our best to amend bookings for you, this may increase the price of the original booking if you are adding nights, additional family members or additional rooms. We will not charge you an additional amendment fee however.
If the amendment results in a reduction in the price of the original booking we will provide you with a refund on the difference.
Any amendments within 24 hours of the date of ticket entrance to the Theme Park or within 24 hours of the hotel stay will be treated as a cancellation. Back to top

Parking at the hotel is normally included. Please check the details of your chosen hotel before booking. Free parking is also included at all most Theme Parks. Back to top

Where is Chessington World of Adventures?
Chessington World of Adventures is situated 12 miles from London on the A243, just 2 miles from the A3 and M25 (Junction 9 or 10). Chessington South Station is a ten minute walk with regular services from Waterloo, Clapham Junction or Wimbledon. Back to top

Why is Chessington World of Adventures located where it is?
When Chessington World of Adventures was originally built it was as a private venture where the public were invited to view a small animale collection. It did not become a theme park until 1987. Back to top

What times does Chessington World of Adventures open and close?
Chessington World of Adventures is open from Thursday 30th March 2006 until 31st October 2006 .The park opens at 10am and closing times vary throughout the season. Where do trade clients exchange vouchers for tickets?
There is a Group Sales kiosk at the main entrance of the park to exchange trade vouchers for park tickets. Back to top

What type of rides are there at Chessington World of Adventures?
Chessington World of Adventures has a range of rides, particularly for the children and their family, including Hocus Pocus Hall, Vampire, Tomb Blaster and the Bubbleworks. More adventurous explorers can ride Dragons Fury. Back to top

How does Fastrack work?
During busy Standard and Peak periods, the Fastrack works using time coded tickets available from the ride entrance of Dragon Falls,Vampire, Proffessor Burps bubble works, Dragons Fury & Tomb Blaster, which state a time after which visitors can return to the ride for their turn. Once guests have reserved their spot in the Fastrack, they are free to spend extra time enjoying other rides and attractions. Fastrack tickets are subject to availability and trade clients cannot purchase before the day of visit. Back to top

There are live shows throughout the day in Beanoland and numerous animal shows in Animal Land, including a Sealion Show and Penguin Show.

Who looks after the safety of the guests at Chessington World of Adventures?
Chessington World of Adventures has its own Security department and Health and Safety department who are responsible for the safety and welfare of both guests and employees. Back to top

Chessington World of Adventures has the following health and safety codes which it must abide by: Fairgrounds and Amusement Parks Guidance on Safe Practice, The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1992 and Disability and Discrimination Act 1995. What facilities does Chessington World of Adventures provide for disabled guests?
On arrival, disabled guests can ask for a guide that will allow them and organisers/ carers to consider the suitability of the venue. Most areas of our Park, including parking, restaurants and toilets, are fully accessible for wheelchair users and Guests with other special needs. However, not all our rides are suitable for all our Guests. Wheelchairs are available for hire at Admissions for a small charge and refundable deposit. Back to top

What is the procedure for looking after lost children at Chessington World of Adventures?
Lost children are immediately taken to the Medical Centre in Forbidden Kingdom until their parents/guardians are located. Back to top

What happens to lost property at Chessington World of Adventures?
Chessington World of Adventures has its own Lost Property department who are responsible for collecting, cross-referencing and locating all lost items. Lost property can be reclaimed at Guest Services in Market Square. Back to top

What height restrictions are there on the main rides at Chessington World of Adventures?
Riders on Rameses Revenge and Rodeo must be over 1.4m. For certain rides, a minimum height applies unless accompanied by an adult. All of the rides have height restrictions, either minimum or maximum, which are set by the ride manufacturer and reinforced by Chessington World of Adventures' own health and safety legislation. What types of food outlets are there at Chessington World of Adventures?
Around the Park guests will find a wide selection of food outlets ranging from McDonalds, KFC and Costa Coffee to Chessington World of Adventures' own branded family restaurants. Restaurants can be very popular between 12.30pm and 2pm on busy days. Back to top
